Desided to come back here for the second time on Mother's Day. When first arriving. I noticed outside there are a lot of Hornets. please be careful you don't get stung buy one. macaroni and Grill needs to get some kind of an exterminator out to get rid of them. When I walked in I had reservations. And was seated asap, but it was not that packed so I can only guess that maybe I really didn't need to make reservations. but it was Mother's Day so you would expect them to be packed. Better to be safe then sorry. After seated, was asked what we would like to drink. I got there peach iced tea. which is very good. And they brought the good bread and oil on a plate to dip the bread in for a little snack. So so good. I wound up ordering the buffalo chicken parmesan with spaghetti with blue cheese and celery mixed in the spaghetti, yes and it was good. The sauce on the chicken parm had a little kick to it. just how I like it. And got a Caesar salad on the side for an extra $2.99. but the Caesar salad was small. Could have gave me a bigger salad, it's not your typical salad. most places that's much bigger and most of the lettuce in the salad Was chunks on the bottom. Overall everything was good. except the service could have been a little bit better. especially at the time I was there it was not that busy.

I really don't like giving bad reviews, but on this occasion, this is a must. I was on a trip with my family taking my twin son & daughter to Sesame Place. After a long day of playing on the rides and in the water park, we were all very hungry. A quick check of the GPS in the car showed that there was a Macaroni grill nearby. Not having been to one in a while, (they don't exist on Long Island), we decided to give it a try. So walking in, I looked up at the "Macaroni Grill" sign, and the M.A.C. part of it was broken....something so simple, but I don't know why, but I all of a sudden got a bad feeling. We went inside, and since it was only around 5:30pm, it was sparse with customers. The hostess was super nice, showed us to our table and brought coloring sheets and crayons for the kids. Our waitress came over, who was incredibly friendly, and paid special attention to the kids. Turns out she's also a nanny, so she was very patient. My son blurted out that he wanted pizza. The waitress said that they had a fire in the kitchen last week, so no pizza, because the oven got broken during the fire. Ok, no problem, he would chicken fingers instead. It didn't dawn on me at the time to ask, what else was affected by the fire? I ordered chicken Marsala and my wife got the chicken parm. I also got a small caesar's salad to start with. The caesar's salad was swimming in the dressing. I mean this was a plate of dressing with some romaine thrown in....it was crazy. I didn't complain...I ate a couple of bites and was done. The Marsala comes out and it is PIPING hot.....the waitress said not to touch the plate. To me, that is usually a quick indicator that this plate has been in a microwave style oven. Now I don't know about the rest of you, but if you've ever had chicken that was in the microwave, you're better off using it as sporting equipment, because the chicken meat gets rubberized. That's exactly what I had...pieces of rubber chicken bathed in Marsala sauce. For whatever reason, my wife's chicken parm was fine. I can only assume the cooking methods were different. Once again, I didn't complain. I'm not the kind of guy who does that unless there's a serious, serious problem, like raw food, or foreign substances in my food. So finally, I asked for a glass of water after finishing my only beer. The water tasted like it came from a sewer pipe. At this point, all I wanted was to get out of there. It was a terrible culinary experience on this particular visit. I want to stress that in no way is this a knock on the service staff. They were excellent. However, if an oven is broken, are they using alternative methods to cook food, such as a microwave, when that is not the normal way the food is prepared? I don't know. I've eaten at Macaroni Grills in the past, but this latest experience has probably closed the door on my desire to ever go back to one again. My wife even said, "they should close that place." That is very telling.

Needed to find a place for a quick bite. Hard to believe this restaurant gets poor reviews. We stopped in around 8 pm to get a drink and appetizers, so just went to the bar for service. The house wines were good. Not great, but we weren't expecting great from the house brand. Ordered appetizers - calamari, meatballs and bruschetta. Everything was delicious, especially the calamari. The breading was just enough and had a great peppery flavor. I also enjoyed the aioli that came with it. My husband could not get enough of the meatballs. The bruschetta was "deconstructed" - but I want to try it again when tomatoes are in season.

After a long Hiatus we decided to try the Fairless Hills PA Macaroni Grill. I had called ahead because I have a gluten issue and was told that the menu listed all ingrediants so I would be able to see what foods were gluten free. Well that was not the case . They did have a seperate food allergy booklet. However there was little to choose from when all was said and done. The waitress was nice enough but the wait for our food was rediculous. The steak that I ordered was supposed to be 'hand seasoned' etc. The waitress remarked that it was spicy. But I didn't say that was a problem. It had vurtually NO seasoning... It was also supposed to have been infused with olive oil. didn't seem that it had been. AND it was served ROOM temperature. :-( the Asparagus was also not hot. So we will not being going back.

We went a couple of weeks back and we had amazing service from Angela. She checked in often to make sure we had what we needed, and was quick with our food and drinks. Speaking of the food, I ordered the Chicken Carmella, and the sauce was pretty terrific. We will be back the next time we are in town.

This place needs a great review and I'm going to give it one! We decided that after our long 4 day Sesame Street place adventure that we would kick back and enjoy some Italian food. We decided to visit Romanos Mac Grill here in Langhorne PA and MAN WAS IT GOOD! We are Long Islanders and eat our fill of gourmet Italian food and we all were just flawed at the service and quality of the food served. And did I mention it's kid friendly. Probably the most kid friendly place in this area. Give it a shot. You'll love it!

Went here last night. Had a great dinner. Food was good. We like getting the bowl of pasta customized it's really good. Obviously this is not a super fancy place but it was good chilled out and reasonably priced. My daughter also enjoyed the pizza and being able to color. Wait staff was good. We come here after going to sesame place on a regular basis and always enjoy our meals.

I've been coming here on and off for probably the past 6-8 years or whenever it was first opened and I have always experienced good food and good service. I'm kind of surprised at the amount of poor reviews for this location as I've never had a bad experience. Like Olive Garden's trademark salad and bread sticks, Romano's has their awesome rosemary/salt crusted bread loaves with olive oil for dipping. Always fresh, warm and tasty! Whether it's been for lunch or dinner it's always been good food, cooked as it should be. It's a chain restaurant so it's on a different playing field versus privately owned restaurants, but with that being said, it holds its own.
Ok not sure where to start. Let's give it a go with lousy. The first adjective that comes to mind when thinking of the waaaaay below average quality of the food served in here. We started with the Baked Prosciutto and Mozzarella, meh average quality, prosciutto was overcooked, the sauce barely wamr and the complimentary flatbread burnt to a crisp rendering it inedible even for my dog. After the appetizer we got the Beef Bolognese Meatball, the Penne Rustica and Mama's Trio. The meatball was awful, a mix between Spam and Alpo (not that I've tasted it, but it smelled like it), made my dog extremely happy since he ended up eating the half pound meatball. Pasta was ok. Penne Rustica, not too bad in the whole. Chicken a bit overcooked, shrimps were slightly rubbery but the Pasta and the prosciutto tasted very good. Mama's Trio (Lasagne, Chicken Parm and Mushroom Manicotti) quality was below par, had better at small independent Italian pizza parlors. Definitely not the quality you would expect form an, albeit chained, Italian restaurant. The two salads were good. On the whole it was a very disappointing dining experience with below par food priced as top quality. Have been to Macaroni Grill before and unfortunately they won't see me back anytime soon.

We had never visited this chain before, we decided to go for lunch to give it a try, first off they have what I would term designer Italian food, great sounding names but the food is average, we went for the lunch counter menu , my wife had the chicken parm sandwich I went for the Caesar salad, a loaf of bread and 2 iced teas, it was almost 22.00, when you think about it isn't too bad but everything was a la carte and quickly added up, the location was quite clean our server Chelsea was very friendly and quick to have the food out to us but honestly I wasn't too impressed with the atmosphere but some I am sure will disagree but it's personal preference I guess, thankfully haven't gotten sick from the meal. Which anymore is a rarity

I was excited to try this restaurant since the one in Long Island always has a wait. We got seated right away but that's just about where the great service stops. Our server Mike, while a nice guy, was slow as molasses. Common sense if you're a server working in an area where Sesame Place is and is kid-oriented and frequented...bring out some food for the kid first! My son finished his whole cup of apple juice before we even got bread (which we had to ask for). Food was surprisingly tasty and would definitely come back to the restaurant, just not at this location.

Our first impression was that they clearly haven't cleaned in a while. An inch of dust coated every surface. Pretty gross. Waitress was nice enough but not very attentive. The place was empty when we were there between lunch and dinner. Food was unexciting. Basic ravioli was ok, salmon was small and bland, pork was under-cooked and over-seasoned. My advice? Skip it.

My family and I went for dinner. I ordered the Pasta Di Mare..there were giant pieces of garlic in it, the mussels were cold, and the sauce tasted sour. Now i am suffering from tummy issues. I normally order this item but it was just terrible this time. My husband's meal wasn't up to par either. I used to love this place...but unfortunately I don't think we will be returning anymore.

Slightly above Olive Garden, but not by much. The only reason we went here was because my boyfriend and I had a gift card. This was my first time here and my expectations were low. It's a low-end chain restaurant so I wasn't expecting much. The service was good. The servers looked cleaned and had nice uniforms. The decor was nice, but a little cheesy. Its the Macaroni Grill, so I expected it. The food came out and it was hot and tasted good. However, the presentation of the food wasn't nice. The plates are old and you can tell they've been washed 1,000s of times. There was no garnish or placement, kinda just threw it on the plate. Two other odd things I found, first the server wrote his name with a crayon on the paper table cover. We didn't have kids with us and I'm pretty sure we can remember the name Mike. I'm not sure what Macaroni Grill is going for? Upscale Italian, family friendly, casual dining, home style, fine dining, Chuck E Cheese? I guess it's a good idea, has good intentions, but it's kind of embarrassing. After the pre-school crayon name, he offered us a sample of wine and poured into what I would consider a juice glass. No, it wasn't a stemless wine glass. It was a juice glass. Then we actually ordered a glass of wine each and he continued to pour the wine in the juice glasses. I guess they ran of wine glasses? This was probably the weirdest thing I've seen in a restaurant in quite sometime. I was actually speechless. I know I'm not at a 5-star restaurant here, but I figured we would get wine glasses. It was really weird to drink wine from a juice glass. Anyway I won't go back again. I'm happy we had a gift card so we didn't have to pay for the meal.

Me, my wife and 3 year old son have eaten here off and on for the last 6 years or so. Thought we'd try it again tonight since our last time here was only ok. And that maybe it got better. We were wrong. Our waiter was MIKE, overall he wasn't great. He didn't ask or offer us water, but kept trying to push the wine list. Also he didn't bother to refill my drink, I had to move it to the outside of the booth for him to notice. He was good about timing between food, plenty of time between our salads and main course. My make your own pasta wasn't great. everything was overcooked, there was oil in the bottom of the bowl. Wife wasn't happy either, they seemed to have changed or substituted items and didn't bother to update the menu.

I've been having a bad spell with restaurants lately...it's like I have been attracting just plain bad service lately. I came here on a weekend night and got seated right away. Nice. Then the orders came out and got screwed up (it's been happening to me literally every time I go out to eat lately, I guess I'm cursed at this point), but you know what, I don't care, you know why, because they actually RECOGNIZED where the problem went wrong, APOLOGIZED and MADE UP FOR IT. Thank you Macaroni Grill for recognizing good service and realizing when an issue needs to be resolved. For that alone you get 5 stars. I actually haven't been to a Macaroni Grill in a few years so I forgot what the menu was and how everything tasted but for a chain everything was actually pretty good. I think it blows Olive Garden out of the water. I'll definitely come back here, even though there is one closer to my house I'm a sucker for good service.

I'm in the Disney Store, which is in the mall across the highway, from Romano's. I do not have my credit card and I have no idea where I left it. I need to meet my husband at this Macaroni place, that he has accumulated coupons for. I arrive in Romano's Macaroni Grill parking lot.. Not seeing his car, I decided to wait outside for him. Twenty minutes go by, I am starting to wiggle, thirty minutes go by, I am chewing my bottom lip, forty minutes go by, as I watch the once empty parking lot fill up and I start crying. I know, as sure as I am sitting here, that was him that drove by on the main road 20 minutes ago. Where is my credit card, where is my hubby, where is my food, I am starving! The building is covered with heavy stone on the front, you walk into a small bar, on the left with a large blue recycle canister and a small television. The dining rooms are divided into two sections, with high backed upholstered booths. The decor is of wood, wrought iron and colored glass bottles from days gone by. Hubby felt very badly, because he had taken the time to cut out these coupons, but he had not taken the time to google where this restaurant was. Note to readers; the conversation of him asking me, if I took the time to map a place out, will never happen again. So, let's eat! Yeah right! Our server, Sara, was so busy with her other tables, that she introduced herself, wrote her name, with crayons, on our table, went over the menu with us, took our drink orders and then totally disappeared! youtube.com/watch?v=Tj9J… This was our first time here. We did not walk in all joyful, but hungry. Hubby finally got his coke and I was told I would have to wait for my glass of wine, because the bartender was taking orders. Mind you, in the interim, the manager was giving evaluations to current employees at a table near us, which I think could have been put on hold. We watched as everyone ate and left, even our servers tables! We finally ordered, asked her to please turn it all in and do not hold anything back, twice! I finally got my glass of Chardonnay, served in a glass without a stem, which I thought was odd, it is more like a juice glass. Along with this came the Tapenade Trio. Do not order this folks, ever and under no circumstances! One tablespoon each of the three worst toppings, roasted tomato & garlic, black olive and artichoke Parmesan. The rosemary flatbread was as hard as a rock and had no flavor and what do you do with the other seven slices of flatbread, when the three tablespoons of spreads were used on one? This was a total waste of money and flavorless. Out comes hubby's salad that came with his meal. His empty coke glass had been begging for a refill, which was slow to come. Then came the crab stuffed mushrooms. At this point, hubby asked for the coke refill and inquired how long does it take to cook Lobster ravioli's and mushroom raviolis? She walked away, went to the micro and put in our order. We just wanted to scream! Twice we had asked her to put everything in, do not hold anything back. The crab stuffed mushrooms were uneventful. We took home the Lobster Ravioli with a tarragon pasta, topped with shrimp, diced tomatoes and asparagus, served in a lemon butter sauce and my Mushroom Ravioli, filled with mushrooms and cheese, then covered with a Marsala cream sauce. They both sound decadent and so mouth watering right? Not even close! Mine, the mushroom one, had been topped with a heavy layer of cheese, that was placed under a broiler and burned. Funny how the picture never showed this, nor did the description. While eating the Rosemary bread, that is complimentary and waiting for your food and drinks, you can doodle away on the paper covered table, with different colored crayons. I did inquire, it is recycled paper and then they do recycle it again. What did I doodle on the table? No More Coupons!!!! Turn it in all at once!!! and Sara Smile...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Red3R17FlUQ

We decided to go here and try it again. I had been to another one before in Lancaster and remembered the food was really salty but wanted to give it a go again. The food selection was OK. It is by no means an upscale restaurant but the cost structure was like it. It's just a franchise restaurant. You do not get a soup or salad with any dinner entree like most franchise restaurants. You have to pay extra. The entree I got was the lamb. It looked nothing like what was pictured and I mean NOTHING like the picture. The portions were small and the food was very average. Olive Garden has a lot better tasting food for a lot less money. I have no anticipation on going back.

My first time at this restaurant chain and I was actually impressed. I was totally expecting some horrible Olive Garden type place but it is definitely a cut above that. Decent sized portions, nice selection for kids that go beyond the standard mac & cheese, and food that came out hot and tasty. I just might go back to one of these again if I am on vacation.

The waitress was slow in her service and in her ability to think critically. I asked for a refill 2x before another inmy group poured me half of hers. She Was slow as dirt. I put in an order fkr create your own salad but the pasta I wanta was not in house fir some reason ... dude you serve pasta why don't you have it? She gave us a military duscount but when we asked to split the check she took it away. But what really posed us off was they charged us automatic gratuity (8+ people) when there was only 7 of us and one person did nit eat and another sent his meal back bc it was so horrible. Then she preceded to take well over 20 min to cash out the checks how flippin rediculous is that??? Its not hard! The good was way over priced and not well cooked a bit salty mediocre service and just plain ineptitude on the part of the waitress. I'll never be back i niw kniw why the lot looked so empty in comparison to the nearby old country buffet.

in comparison to my last review of romano's in nj, this one has better way of serving and cooking the standard of romano's macaroni but not better than carrabba's or olive garden's.

The staff seemed rushed and only came by my table 5 times throughout the entire 75 minute stay during the 7pm evening hour. However, they still managed to keep my drink filled 75% of the time. The food was both timely and of great quality!

I went here to eat one night when I was sent to the East Coast Corporate offices for about two weeks. The wait staff was very attentive and the food was amazing. It was the first night in about a week that I actually had time to sit down in a restaurant and eat instead of grabbing food to go. The food was good priced. . . I had the chicken marsala and it comes with the rosemary bread on the side. I ended up eating about a quarter of my food and taking the rest back to my hotel room so I could get some work done. On average my visit lasted about 30 minutes and I felt the staff etc. was very helpful.

We ordered takeout from Macaroni grill and were under impressed with the quality of the entree (mushroom ravioli) and were very sad to find that they had charged us for a soup and not given it to us. My husband (being the nice person he is) actually offered to go back and pick it up after an exhausting day with kids at theme park. I would not have been so nice, especially with 4 hungry kids to feed at 8:30 pm. In the end, they offered to refund the amount of the soup to our card. But aside from an apology, there wasn't any other attempt at keeping us as customers. Not happy with this place.

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Before last night, I hadn't been to Macaroni Grille in years. I was pleasantly surprised by what I experienced. To start, the hostess was overly eager to seat us. Usually this is a bad thing, but I didn't mind so much. My fiancée and I ordered the 4 course for $15. We loved it!! I had the Chicken Saltimboca, that was fabulous!! The potatoes that were paired with the chicken was awesome as well. Other items on the menu, such as the Fettuchini Alfredo were great!!. The food was hot and fresh when it came out. A home run in my opinion. We did have one small issue with our food, my fiancée ordered a combination of steak and sausage. When the order came out, he got steak and shrimp. The manager was quick to resolve the issue. He even gave my fiancée extra potatoes with the steak as it came out!!

Bahar is a great server! He recommends the cheese cake and he is right! Nice atmosphere and good food. Fair prices. Perfect portions.

Best service I've ever had at a franchise restaurant, and the food was really good too. We went on a rainy Saturday night, and the place was pretty packed. Our hostess was really friendly and bent over backward to serve us.
